The welds on the cross wires wasn’t that good and would break when cutting with tin snips causing the wires to break loose on the edges

Very sturdy & well made. Used it to replace wire mesh cover on my outside gas fireplace vent. A challenge on cutting to fit, but it did the job.

The mesh arrives flat in a protective wrapper. This mesh is very sturdy, it is ideal for using it as a flat opening cover. It can be curved into a larger radius, but a small radius is very difficult, right-angle bends are to be avoided. The material is high quality, very stiff and springy. Tin snips are needed to make cuts. Nice material for the right application.

What was needed, delivered on time & quickly.

Bought a roll, I carefully selected my larger size (5 per inch), then in history of purchase it gives one size regarding a transaction and another when the link navigates to the product. It is the typical confuso-marketing technique that you do everything to avoid once you are had by it. And yet, it happens to me again. Suprise project is on hold again...

First I have to comment on all the reviews that said it was hard to bend, heres a hint, clamp the side and width you wish to bend between to pieces of wood and then gently hammer or roll the edge over to whatever degree you need. Second hint you need to make sure your hands are protected with sturdy leather gloves, not cloth as the ends are sharp and will poke thru cloth gloves. I am using this in the bottom of a charcoal grill to keep the ceramic briquets from falling thru the wide grill bars in the bottom of the BBQ, I dont now how long it will last as the grid gets (color) red hot and ive only done this a few times. But other than this and other than looking for something heavier in wire gauge I am satisfied.

The screen is good, somewhat more flexible (than noticeably stiffer stainless screen sourced from China on eBay). My co-installer noted that since it’s a little lighter, poking mtg. holes into it was also easier than for the eBay screen. We installed it for security on a mobile vent cover, and it looks very good as such.

It came in a convenient size for what I needed, so I wasnt buying much more than I needed.

Used this to patch a hole in my soffit vent. Also great to replace a missing or damaged soffit vent screen if necessary.

Exactly as described. I am going to cut and use in the silverware section of our dishwasher. The bottom of one of the silverware plastic bins broke. I am going cut pieces of mesh to fit in the bottom of the compartments/bins so I dont have to purchase a replacement from KitchenAid for $150.
