I had to cut a harness open after about a week and this product actually fused together and came off like a piece of conduit, I could not un tape it. I regularly wrap automotive air intake pipes with header wrap to insulate from heat and found that this tape is fantastic for securing the wrap ends - no more stainless steel zip ties!

> 3 dayThis stuff is awesome. Dont use anything else to wrap your wire loom, this stuff is what you need. I completed a wire harness overhaul on my Cummins pickup and used this stuff. Not a week later, a gasket blew on the engine and soaked everything in oil, and this stuff held up excellent.

It seems to have good spill resistance, decent adhesion to itself, and it looks very nice with Splitloom. The other Tesa tape iv used didnt perform as expected and tended to hold in moisture more than it repelled it
