After installing about 6 months ago, speakers were intermittently working. Upon examination the black wire was totally distintergrated inside the plastic. A few strands of copper wire was remaining, while a white powder substance was coming out of the wire. Now I need to remove ALL wiring and replace with another better quality brand. Do not waste your time with this brand.

Rewired my surround sound system with this 12 GA wire. I skipped the banana plugs. Just stripped the insulation and tinned the wire. That makes it easier and saver to go into the binding posts on the receiver and the speakers. It is easy to tin. The wire is soft and flexible enough to route around corners. The black and blue color wire make it easy to identify polarity. Will order more for the rear channel speakers.

It works. I normally would never run CCA but the description was sneaky. Id put it in the title so people knew exactly what it was. But for the price per foot it wasnt bad. Ill be replacing it soon though

Great wire. Super flexible and good size. Only complaint is it was bulk wire cut to length so it did NOT come with a spool attached.
