> 3 dayI have a lab-husky that I walk daily. Finding poop bags is fun, especially since the elimination of plastic bags. I wanted to to go the bio-degradable route, & got these. These are large and durable and contains the aroma better than I would have thought!! The fact that this company gives back to Soi Dog was also a consideration! Way to go!! This is a win-win product: excellent quality, environmentally safe, and a socially conscious company.

> 3 dayI love that these donate to a charity I support and that these are truly compostable. I use them to clean the litterbox. I have 2- 5 month old kittens and these work great and tie easily. I have these on subscribe and save so I’ll never run out.

> 3 daySo far these are very good. Getting the first roll started was easy by using a pair of scissors slid under the sticker and carefully cutting it. The bags are sturdy and even with mushy poo don’t break, rip, or leak. We have a large plastic poop composter we are putting them in so when we mix I will update on how well they break down!

> 3 dayI used to buy plastic scented bags until I realized I’m part of the problem our planet is facing. I found these bags and thought “awesome, at least I can do my part.” These bags are SUPER sturdy and thick so I don’t ever have to worry about accidentally ripping through and touching my dogs poop. They aren’t scented so hope you’re not too far from a trash can. If these were scented, this review would be 5 stars. Anyways, these bags are supporting a good cause and totally worth it.

Greater than one weekLove these bags! Love that they are compostable and LOVE the name. Also love that they are more cost efficient than other bags I’ve found. I’m a dog walker and those nickels and dimes add up. Knowing that I’m doing my part for the environment gives me peace of mind.

> 3 dayThe bags themselves are fine but I was very dissapointed in the packaging and how they arrived. When I opened the mailing envelope the box of dog bags was wide open and all the bags were unrolled inside the mailing envelope. It appeared that the sticker on most rolls was not even placed right to make them stay in a secure roll. I spent at least 15 mins having to roll them all back up and reposition the sticker to hold them in place.

> 3 dayThese bags are a nice size - wider than newspaper bags for sure. My only complaint is the little stickers that seal each roll. They are impossible to get off without causing a rip in the bag, rendering it less useful.

> 3 dayI received a box that seemed suspiciously unprofessional taped. Even before opening it and just shaking it I knew it was missing a roll. And it was, 15 rolls instead of 16. Pretty disappointed seeing as these are already pretty pricey. I was willing to pay more for the eco friendly product as well as supporting good causes but not to get less than promised. Also the sticker is hard to remove and will ruin 1 bag per roll which adds up to 1 roll worth of bags. So youre paying to use only about 90% of what you paid for.

Greater than one weekPros: Smooth bag that is super easy to open (no wetting of fingers required), easy tear from the roll. Certified compostable with certification number printed on each bag. Cons: These aren’t smell-proof. My previous bags (Earth-Rated, not compostable) locked in the smell nicely so my garbage can didn’t reek. Also, the brand name is on each bag, so if the S-word bothers you, you may want to choose another brand. Many brands claim to decompose, but only trust those with a certification number on the box and bags. Any brand that will truly decompose will proudly display this information. If you can’t find it, they’re misrepresenting their product. These are the real deal.

> 3 dayThese are surprisingly silky smooth. I know that shouldn’t matter, but it really does feel nice in my hand—pre-poop. OK, now onto the important things. On the one hand, the bags do feel thin, so there is that all-too-realistic feeling when picking up dog poop. However, anyone reading this review is hopefully more interested in an environmentally friendly bag than one that protects us from an uneasy feeling. On that note, the bags are certainly strong even though they may feel thin. I have a 55 lb heeler/lab/pit mix and a 25 lb heeler puppy. I can pick up both their poops in one bag without fear of it breaking. I’ve been using these bags for a couple of weeks now, and if you can get over the thin feeling of the bag, then give these a try. They’re strong enough to hold the poop and I feel so much better knowing that they are biodegradable. I will certainly keep re-ordering these.
