100% Gold Standard Whey 450g Double Rich Chocolate

I really like O.N. whey protein powder, but I usually get double rich chocolate and decided to try this. The description said it was vanilla, but it is vanilla ice cream. The flavor is good, but way too sweet for my taste. Wont be buying this flavor again!

All I can say is that I ordered a white chocolate and it is delicious. If mixed with milk, it could be sold weather people are interested in the the protein or not. Also, I am always interested in ordering from the best company, and I am definitely found it. Very good reputation amongst those who use proteins shakes, and I definitely recommend it, at least the white chocolate

I have tried so many protein powders and this is the one I prefer. Ive gone through a 5 pound tub and this is my second order. It blends well and taste like chocolate milk. I call it my treat.

I really wanted to see what all the hype was about so I gave it a go. To bee fair, I know I chose sort of an out there flovor, but I LOVE white chocolate. For some reason, it taste like mocha. Its also the only protein that has ever been this foamy. I will probably try a more comparable flavor next. I do love the nutritional values and the servings per container....BUT The thing that bothered me most was the scooper. If a serving is 31g, MAKE YOUR SCOOPER HOLD 31g!!!!! IT HOLDS 27....Im not going to get my scale for every scoop. Luckily I had an old scooper that came to exactly 31g. This rounded scoop business is pure bulls***. All in all, I can get past the bad stuff because of the label, but this is not my favorite.

Gotta make sure you blend it with cold fluid or itll clump. I do not prefer it with fruit smoothies but its great in milk with ice

I make a protein shake for my roommate every night because he is skinny and refuses to eat healthy food. I can sneak fruit, spinach and milk into this shake so he is getting nutrients that he would never get otherwise. I am noticing that he is getting some muscle mass back as a result of drinking these shakes. The powder mixes well and its not grainy and It doesnt make me sick to my stomach like other whey protein powders have in the past. I am definitely buying this again.

Edit, several years later: by around 2017 I switched to an unflavored whey (not from this brand) in an attempt to minimize artificial sweeteners and other additives I put into my body. I’d recommend that instead of flavored whey offerings like this one. Doesn’t taste pleasant by itself, so I blend it into my smoothies. Tastes decent, and is more protein dense than a rival brand I tried once.

I really like the flavor of this protein shake. I did find it kind of hard to blend in milk though. No matter how hard I shook, I still had clumps. And yes I used the shaker ball.

The number one thing I like about Gold Standard versus other protein supplements I have tried is that it breaks up and dissolves into the water you put it in very nicely. Im not eating clumps of protein with this supplement unlike other brands Ive tried. I got the white chocolate flavor and its not the greatest, but it works. Its a tad watered-down tasting even with little water in it.

Great taste, great protein but I ordered white chocolate this time. While I like the taste of white chocolate, I think I prefer cake batter because it can easily be combined with berries for a sweet smoothie, or with peanut butter for a more savory smoothie. Cookies and cream is my favorite to use with just water for a quick, light protein shake.
