Ive tried three different needles for fluid administration with my dog. This brand is the worst--they are not very sharp, so the hole is ragged and bleeds, as well as being uncomfortable for my dog and requiring more pressure to insert. Not worth it, will be going back to Terumo needles. Two stars because they are actually needles and they are individually wrapped. Probably best for use on non-living items.

Used this on my 100 pound mastiff when his ear swelled up with blood. A basic wellness for my big boy is about $250+ and as much as I love him I cant afford that plus then them draining his ear. When I worked at a farm they had me drain cows blood and pus all the time with no vet training. So I was like, why cant I do this with my dogs ear? The asnwer is, you can. Just dont be an idiot. Wash your hands, clean the surface area of the ear, give a good poke (not enough to go through the whole ear) and drain it either outside or into something to collect the blood. Clean the area and add pressure. Product is good for its price, and good quality. Thank you for helping me and my pup. I hope this review helps other pet parents.

I have hidradenitis suppurativa and cant afford to see a doctor every time I need a cyst drained. These are sterile and super sharp. I was able to open and drain a really large cyst and within 24 hours it had all but disappeared. These are so sharp that I didnt hardly feel it.

Was using another companies 18 gauge needles for fluid for my cat never had an issue. Since I’ve been using these I can’t even get it through his skin they repair very dull and I am going to put using them in order something else.
