> 24 hour>.. I do a fair amount of craft painting with acrylic paints, and probably have over 100 bottles in maybe 99 colors. But, I dont use every color every day, or even every week, and some not for months. So, when i use a less common color, often is is not really ready for use. >.. Acrylic paints are really an emulsion and when they dry they link tight and are often pretty darned waterproof. But, let them sit for a month or two and the emulsion can need some agitation to restore its best consistency. This is where these balls come into use. By now, most of my bottles have one of these in them, and just a few seconds shaking the bottle and hearing the ball move about in the paint, gives me a ready to paint color. >.. I got the idea from two sources, 1, a can of spray paint with the instructions that go like this: Shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds after you hear the ball in the can. and 2, from Army Paints who sell a smaller ball as an agitator for their paints. But when I tried their balls in my paints, they did not do well. So, I went to this size, 5/16s. These will sink in all but the thickest acrylic paint, and shaking for 30 seconds or so gives me well mixed, liquid paint ready to use. This works really well in the metallic and glitter paints (should work for the chalk paints, too, but I dont use that type of paint) as the metallic and glitter have more than pigment in their emulsions. And those elements really shine when properly mixed.

> 24 hourI had to replace the bearings on a stationary bicycle. Im a former mechanic so DIY and very happy with the results. The old bearings had shelled apart-and there are questionable quality bearings out there. These passed my rudimentary hardness testing but time will be the test. As always proper installation is a key-snug bearing tight & turn back till no resistance or play is felt-then lock the adjuster. And generous quality lube-done forever I hope.
