The first 5-10 times, the seal was great. Obviously it’s recommended you change it out sooner, but we wanted to make it last. Great for having to get through rain, in the shower, etc. I don’t think we would’ve changed swimming in it. After the mouth stretched out we still used it but with an extra rubber band, the body of the cover never tore. For reference my husband is 6 foot and the seal went over his knee.

Several uses on one of these, still working well. Took another with me while travelling. Ordered a couple more, just in case. Very cost-effective, as well. Handy when travelling, dont take up much space at all. Hang em up, dry them off, good to go.

I was worried these might not be big enough but they fit and sealed well over my cast which includes a splint that made it pretty wide. Not sure it would fit if the cast went higher than the knee.

I had to feet the wrapping in my foot dry for a week. I found this item on line. It showed up quickly and matched the description perfectly. I used the first one for 4 days, and it worked well. The forth day, it had some condensation inside, so o switch to the second one. That one leaked (or perhaps had a hole) and my foot got rather wet. It was very easy to put on and fit well.

Update*** I now do the same as below but also add the second cover completely over the first and the towel. With this I can sit directly under the shower head. No water is getting in. I don’t even need to elevate my foot. The towel is probably not necessary but I like the peace of mind it gives in case water gets in the first cover. It will absorb it and change color so I can deal with it immediately. This is close to a real shower which is so nice given I have such little joy right now and love showers. I have used this about 8 times and have no complaints. It fit over my swelling cast as well as my fiberglass foot to knee cast, and the top has not stretched out so far. To make sure 100% that no water gets in, I roll up a microfiber towel under the opening. Any towel will do if not very bulky. I sit on a shower seat and keep my foot up on the tub edge and fill up a watering can and pour it over me. I think this cover may last the 10 weeks I will need it for. The convenience of this over using a trash bag is well worth the money spent. On a side note, I noticed that the first few times I used it my foot “felt” wet even though it was absolutely dry. It’s a trick your brain plays on you because it expects it to be wet. It’s faded as this becomes my new routine.

They work for a use or two but then slip down, leak water around the top edge. I needed these for an ankle surgery and was not happy with my purchase. You may have a better experience especially if you only need one or two uses at most

Easy to put on and take off by yourself. Keeps your cast/injury dry while you take a much needed shower.

It’s quite tight around my husbands leg. I told him to take a shorter shower. It is a heavy plastic and we are happy with our purchase.
