> 24 hourWhile the unit looks really well made, it is not compatible with the TP-Link TP-SG2210P. I am running the latest firmware (V3.20 20200730). Talking with TP-Link support, they say that only fiber units are supported.

> 24 hourConnects into the SFP port easily. Good connection with the RJ45 cable. No communication issues with the Ubiquiti switch. The switch itself runs hot - around 103 F. These modules run hotter, about 130 F. Verified with Ubiquiti - as long a you keep it under 190 F, good to go. So I am happy with these modules.

> 24 hourI purchased this unit to use with an Ubiquiti UniFi Switch 8-150W with the original goal of connecting to a 10/100 only device that does not require POE, leaving all 8 POE ports open for my POE Hardware. Unfortunately, the connection could not be established at 10/100 speeds using this unit in that SFP port... it would endlessly cycle the LEDs indicating it was attempting to configure itself, failing, then trying again. However, when I swapped to using this unit for a 1G uplink to my upstream switch, it worked perfectly and has had no issues whatsoever. All in all, the unit works well so long as youre running 1G (and the issue there may be in the Switch, not the SFP transceiver). It gets a little warm but nothing horrible, and overall has performed as expected.

> 24 hourI may return the item, I bought the wrong SFP for my equipment. Wanted to use an SFP port for upstream comm to my router to free up a port. Both the router and switch are GB, so I figured it would work. Doesnt, I did research to find out why and discovered I needed a 10/100/1000 SFP which this item is clearly described as NOT being. My Bad! Contacted the vendor sales and got a reply quickly confirming my finding. Im impressed by QSFPTEK. I bought the cheapest RJ45 SFP and got a support response from an email. They suggested I return this one. Terrific service. Will look for their products.
