I put one in marine salt water as soon as they arrived for two days. Dried it on my wood stove ..Pass! no rust or discoloring. Smoothly slides over the food grade 7/16 od x 1/4 id braided line and cinches perfectly. I blasted 40 lbs pressure on the line and ...Nothing. So these are a go! 20-25lbs pressure is what i normally run. If your system is pretty well plumbed perfect and you want to loose those lousy screw clamps like i wanted to do, these are them. Drinks on the house!

These seal hoses to barbs way better than conventional screw-type hose clamps that dont evenly apply pressure around the entire circumference. They can be (relatively) easily removed using the appropriate Oetiker clamp removal tool.
