useful for smaller spools. the clips are very thick and you dont see the thread well after applying the clip.

They work on full spools of thread however, if you have a 1/2 full spool yeah, not so much!

I have hundreds of spools of embroidery thread in so many colors and brands. Some brands have a way to catch and store the thread end…some do t.
