10802 Gel Plate 8X10

Ive read and seen people using this, so I had some idea before purchasing it. Im a card maker and use this to make a background paper. Not only it helps me to make customized papers but also, its really soothing when Im using this! Maybe due to the texture of this gel plate.. The reason I bought this (6 x 6)at Amazon was due to the price. Some sells gel press way to expensive, even the same brand. And Im not sure why but after observing the prices over the time, the price was much better than 5 x 7 which I initially wanted. Im happy with the purchase with the quality and the price!

It arrived in perfect condition. Ive been using it since. A great buy for artists and crafters!

I will get a lot of use from this tool. I can put together backgrounds for cards, mixed media, and gift wrap. Price was easy on my pocketbook.

I am new at Gel Plate Printing. I am now becoming addicted. I follow several artists who teach techniques in using a Gel Plate. Every person I follow use a more expensive brand and I think they are sponsored by that brand. I am just learning and my Gel Press gel plate seems to work as good as theirs. I love this brand and I now have 2 different gel plates by Gel Press. I am a very satisfied customer and will be a loyal customer of Gel Press products.

This is my first Gel Press and Im hooked! Its a quality product that comes in its own storage case. Cleanup is easy and results are so awesome! After watching a bunch of video demos and tutorials, I want to get smaller sizes and even round plates now!

A wonderful addition to your art projects. Fun to use with mixed media projects. It is absolutely addictive and adds such a personal touch. I love it and use it often.

great gel plate, love it

Best brand of gel plate ever. I’ve got several sizes not smaller ones and round ones and the multiple shaped ones but I wanted the 12x12 so I could do bigger sizes of paper. I love it but keep in mind that most stencils are 8x10 unless you buy the big ones. Now I need to invest in larger stencils. It’s a vicious but lovely circle.

After doing 2 days of Gel Printing, taking a local class with others on Gel Printing, plus watching numerous videos out there, I discovered that I LOVE GEL printing on FABRIC or PAPER. With living in New Mexico I find some times the paint wants to dry fast, so I use just a little water spray to moisten the plate. Most if not all acrylic paints will work, I have a friend who is experimenting with water color, gauche, plant leaves, etc. You can also bring an old plate alive with using mineral oil. I enjoy quilting, card making so the Gel Printing will only add more enjoyment to my ART work. Enjoy
