10802 Gel Plate 8X10

I somehow stumbled upon this quite randomly. I was just trying to validate someone’s review of a totally different product - a kid’s toy and saw her rave about this gelli plate. I had no idea what these were or what they did but was intrigued. Initially tried this with my son’s tempera paint - that was great and was about to return it but 5hen experimented a bit more with the tempera- got some fun results and then finally got some acrylic paint and that made all the difference. It is lots of fun. I have no idea what I’ll do with my creations but we’ll see.

I am in joying messing around doing art prints. This particular plate had the best price of them all. Quality seems just fine though.

Everyone needs a Gel Press. Hours of addicting fun! Just do it. You won’t regret it! 8x10 is your work horse size. Easy to store and covers most mixed media needs

A wonderful addition to your art projects. Fun to use with mixed media projects. It is absolutely addictive and adds such a personal touch. I love it and use it often.

I knew that I wanted a Gelli Plate and searched for options on line. Amazon offered the best price at that time and a quick delivery. I love this plate. I made a nice one myself but this is a nicer product. I use both. My photo is a print I made with three layers of high flow acrylic paint with alcohol resist, and a medium body acrylic paint release for the print life. The price for the Gelli Plate has gone up a bit, but the price per square inch is much better for the 12x12 plate. Might get that one, too.

I love this! It gives me so many new ways to play with printmaking!
