Unlike others this is really copper AWG wire with 6 MM square cross sectional area. Some are wrongly claiming 4 MM square inch is equivalent to 10 AWG which it is not. Buyer be aware that Ohms law applies and the resistance of lesser gauge cable carrying high current produces unacceptable loss. This is the right one.

Connected in series to 100ft, read 0.1 ohm, good enough. Used 40Vdc with 5 plus Amp, seemed fine. Tough looking and feeling jacket on the wire. Seems good.to me.

cables worked for my solar project

No where in the description does this say aluminum. Copper clad aluminum (CCA) is what this product is. Dishonest way to sell items. Much shame!

Bought many rolls for a solar job. Perfect in all ways.

Used these to rewire an existing solar panel array mounted on a 7 foot pole. They worked fine and were compatible with the 10 year old mc4 wire connectors. Had to rewire the panel to drop the voltage for a new charge controller.

I plan to use this with portable suitcase solar panel. Seems like it will be durable.

It didnt snap into my connection very well and its stiff wire. I needed a long wire for a cheaper price. Id choose something else if I could. The connection showed the wires inside and I didnt really like that. It was hard for me to push the connection in. Im weak, though. Im still not sure if it is well connected. The wire was really stiff and doesnt bend well.
