Perfect replacement for my 4-watt Malibu light set. Brighter and whiter than the original lights at a very reasonable price.

I purchased these to replace incandescent mini bulbs in a Husqvarna 936 serger/coverstitch sewing machine. The LEDs work, but they flicker at the 60Hz rating of grid power. Not the fault of the bulb, however. More than likely the power feed to the bulb is just stepped down to 12 volts without any DC rectification/filtration. And why should the power be rectified/filtered? An incandescent bulb doesnt need it. Once again, not the fault of the bulb... There are T5 LED bulbs sold specifically for the sewing machine. And, no doubt, they have the rectification/filtering built-in. But, they were a bit more expensive than these bulbs which is why I gave them a try. Live and learn. I want to stress again, the issue is not the bulbs fault. The problem is the way the sewing machine delivers power to the bulb.

Got these about three years ago for landscape lighting. Worked great in that application. Just bright enough for the walkway lights but not too bright. However, since then the individual LEDs in each one have been going out, making the light dimmer. Of the 6 I had just in the front walk, only ONE still had all five LEDs still working. The others had one, two, three, or four of the LEDs non-functional.

Ordered and rapidly received two sets of 10 LED lamps to upgrade an existing 15 light, Malibu 4 Watt incandescent landscape light set. Product description and illustration describes and shows a 5-segment LED lamp display fully illuminated, cool white. Upon receipt I pretested each lamp prior to installation using the existing Malibu 12.3 Volt low voltage transformer, and found that 15 of the 20 new LED lamps received only lit up in 4 of their 5 LED segments (top segments did not light); the other 5 LED lamps fully lit all 5 of their segments uniformly. Next, installed the 5 fully working LEDs into the Malibu light fixtures and detected a very noticeable 60 Hz flicker, occurring at each illuminated LED lamp. Additionally, each of the LED lamps lit up with a very noticeable ice-blue tint, not cool white as described. Next went back to the low voltage Malibu transformer (power supply) and clipped in a full-wave rectifier (4 leads) to change the AC output to DC full-wave DC output. Then rechecked all 20 LED lamps individually observing correct polarity for illumination, and still found that15 of 20 LEDs still did not fully illuminate, while the remaining 5 of 20 did fully illuminate each of their 5 segments. The DC provided a slightly brighter and consistent (non-flickering) output on all tested lamps, with the lamps measuring 15 degrees F hotter at the LED faces. Conclusion reached was that the quality of the received LED lamps was disappointingly poor with 75% (15 of the 20) not working as advertised (750,000 PPM). Next contacted the Seller in writing through Amazon link method requesting replacement of 15 of the defective (partially-lit lamps) to be exchanged for 15 fully-illuminating lamps as was described and shown on the Amazon product listing. To their credit, the Seller responded within 3 hours and indicated that they could not locate my recent order and suggested direct contact with Amazon for resolution. I contacted Amazon and requested a return/refund credit, and will return all 20 lamps. Recovery Plan: Placed an order for a different style LED lamp design listed on Amazon that is showing a very high number of 5-star comments. Its features describe a mini circuit board, built-in rectifier, and built-in voltage regulator...none of which the first LED lamps ordered featured . Am hopeful that the replacement LED lamps, when tested and installed, meet their described form, fit, function, and color output as detailed on the Amazon E-catalog pages. Weatherbug

I looked at lots of auto parts places for replacement bulbs for aftermarket running boards I had installed on a Honda Element. No one bad anything! I bought these - better than the originals! Bright, clear, and a great price!

I used these for my paver lights in my patio area. These lights formerly were lit with incandescent bulbs. These are a nice replacement and have a blue hue to them. Very light blue. Just not white. Brightness is the same as the old incandescent bulbs. Its my experience that not only am I saving energy by lowering the watts but also having to replace the bulbs since led last longer than incandescent bulbs. They plug right in as a direct replacement.

I love these lights so much so that I immediately bought another set, I have used all 20 so I want to buy some for spare and replacements, they only use 1 watt as compared to the ones that I replaced that were 4 watts, this means that on my 88 watt Malibu transformer I can literally have up 88 lights, what a concept. My wife didnt like them at first when they were mixed with my traditional bulbs due to the fact that I did not order enough since I wanted to try them out first, but now that that I have the entire set of 20 fixtures all uniform she now likes them too. They are whiter than the traditional bulbs that I would call yellow in color as compared to these, I also like the fact that these have 5 LEDs in each and every bulb, the bulb is kind of flat in each side so each side and the top has an LED, if one goes out which they have not, the others in that bulb will continue to light, out of all 20 bulbs only 1 LED did not light, that is 1 LED in 1 bulb out of 5, I didnt bother to send it back since you cant notice and difference, these bulbs gave my 20 year old set of low voltage lights new life, they were barely working before, these make it easier to get the fixtures working agIn, its a tedious task requiring a lot of patients to get the old fixtures to light since the connectors have to be pinched and twisted and bent and moved to get them to work, with these particular bulbs when your connectors bite the wire and find just a bit of power the bulbs will light dim then bright when you move to the connector to the correct angle. I leave them on all night long since they are so economical.
