These hooks are easy to install. I’ve been please with how much weight they’ve been able to hold.

You get a left hook and a right hook to slide together and form a hanging hook, however if you use 2 left or 2 right hooks and slide them together you form a closed hanger, see picture. this is how i used them to hang some signage.

I had previously only purchased plastic versions of these hooks from a local teacher supply store. They work fine and are more inexpensive but they are just plastic. Moving them always involves crossing your fingers that they do not snap. These metal hooks are much, much sturdier. They come in two pieces, a left and a right to put up onto the metal ceiling structure of your dropped ceiling. I use these to hang decorations and signs in the school library. They are very handy. Get these for a good price and you will not regret the purchase!

Looks nice and is strong

I absolutely love these hooks! They hold to my drop ceiling perfectly and I am able to hang my rope shelves and baskets from them! The only reason for the 4 star and not 5 is because the hook its self is a little shallow and I had a hard time getting some of the rope material (that was probably a medium thickness) onto the hook without a fair amount of effort. Still, once on I was able to move the hooks buy leaving the hanging materials on and just moving the part holding onto the ceiling off if I needed to.

We installed these in a store with a drop ceiling and theyre perfect! We even installed a 10 pound hanging shelf and it didnt even bend the ceiling frames. Because the hooks are deep, we were able to use them to hold track lighting cords in place across the ceiling. I highly recommend these hooks.
