These are metric rods. They are not 1/2 in diameter, they are 13mm, so if you are expecting them to fit in a 1/2 hole, they wont. Deceptive advertising.

Mine arrived and were abut 0.45 of an inch so are loose in a half in hole. not fit for purpose sadly.

The material was reasonably strong and I was able to fabricate some special parts. it chipped a bit when cutting but that was a minor problem for me.
