These work so well, I bought them for my car... its an Older model car, and its got a smell thats, well, old, I put 6 of the larger bags inside under the seats, and I. The side door pockets.. it really helped, its not perfect, but that must smell is gone.. I also used them in a hallway closet, and under one of our dogs bed...

its to the point where you walk into my parents house and ask yourself what that SMELL is. no, not like a yummy smell - its the dreaded old people smell. i tried discreet plug in fresheners, but it actually made it worse, which was just another smell nightmare. then someone told me about charcoal bags. being the simple person i am, i thought they meant cooking charcoal. happily, this was not so, and my visions of large bags of charcoal placed about the house disappeared; to be replaced with these small (but powerful) bags. now i can visit without being haunted by mysterious, and, quite frankly, scary smells. i must remember these when old age comes to my door. you can use these for many smells - pets, cooking, musty closets, people at wal-mart, etc.

We’ve used these odor eliminators in a variety of places and in a variety of ways. You have to warm them in direct sunlight for a couple hours to activate the “coal”, which is a small annoyance but the wait is worth it. My daughters plays volleyball and her gym bag can smell like toxic waste that’s been buried underneath a garbage dump and then dipped in spoiled milk. Seriously tho, these little bags, about the size of a small purse, EAT up any bad odors. They leave the room smelling fresh. They are small enough to fit in backpacks, cars, closets, and even drawers. The price is great as well.

No order, no scent, not sure it eliminates odors, but I have read having charcoal in the house is healthy for the house and occupants. The smaller bags are great and can be easily hidden behind pictures/books.

We needed to try these air purifying bags to eliminate a stuffy odor in a house after it was closed up for the winter. I put some in the closets because the musty odor stays in clothes and used a couple of the smaller ones for shoes. Also, I hung them throughout the house to absorb the odors in the air. The one at the bottom of the basement stairs worked pretty well with the damp odor. They seemed to work pretty well in the closets, but the clothes still had little a bit of the mustiness in them. Perhaps I need to use a larger one in the closets. I do think they work well keeping the air fresher in the house as Ive tried other ways to eliminate the odors which didnt work as well. After a couple of months, I set them outside again in the sun to refresh them.
