After receiving and instructions said place in full sun to activate, I was skeptical. But low in behold the seem to work…

I was skeptical but these seem to help the stinking shoe issue. Having to put them in the sun is interesting.. I hope it still works with winter window light as we dont get much sun in the winter. I will repost in a couple months. Good value

These came with instructions to put in sun for 6-8 hours before using. I was disappointed because January has very few sunny days where I live so they are useless until a sunny day comes. I can update after we get a sunny day.

These little guys are amazing! I was skeptical, to be honest… I have two pair of 8 year old Asics sneakers that I swap wearing every other dayand a pair of slippers I wear daily, with plantar fasciitis inserts in each pair of slippers and sneakers. I tried Febreeze spray, Unstoppable spray, and a few foot-odor specific sprays- smell kept coming back. Regular charcoal is made from wood that has been burned without oxygen- this is made of bamboo charcoal. When the deodorizer bags arrived, I took them out of the plastic and let them sit out in the sun to activate (it’s the UV that activates them). I put them in my shoes and slippers overnight and the next morning, my shoes and slippers did not smell! I hate to admit, I gave the shoe packs a sniff, and they did not smell, either! Recharge them once a month and they will last a long time. A great purchase!

Updated: added a couple stars due to seller response. They believe in their product, even if I dont and they did what they could to resolve my complaint. I dont know if I just got a dud or what. I left all 12 bags out all day in direct sunlight as directed. Couldnt even smell them a little bit. Tried to use them anyway. Put some in a shoe locker, and some directly in the shoes. It has had zero effect. Waste of money.

I was a skeptic at first. I didnt believe that this would actually work in reducing the smell in my stinky shoes or completely getting rid of them. I have really smelly feet. It could be a combination of wearing the wrong socks that dont really breath, to only wearing one shoe to wearing them for everything a total of 12+ hours a day. Beating my shoes up and trapping all the sweat in to create the perfect scenario for your shoes to smell like stinky tofu. I was on therapy on using deodorant on the soles of my feet to the bottom of my socks to actually prevent a lot of sweat from forming. (it actually helps in minimizing the odor from your feet and reduces the smell in the shoe) I also changed my socks out every 4-6 hours and placed it in a bag, that seemed to help also. The two main things that REALLY helped were buying more shoes and swapping them out daily and using the Marsheepy charcoal pads. They tend to actually absorb the dampness and the smell pretty well. From a stink level of 10/10 (10 being the max stinkiness), it brought it down tremendously from 10 to a good 3-2. Its not noticeable anymore from 10 feet away you have to be right next to it to actually get a good smell of it now. I place some of these in the bathroom of my house and my work and they tend to make those rooms smells decent now. I also place these in my gym bag and my laundry basket. It reduces the smell down to barely noticeable. I highly suggest getting these to just absorb the weird odors and smells from a high schooler or someone who smells.

Have dealt with smelly shoes for years, tried all sorts of sprays, powders and deodorizers. Most leave a nasty smell themselves, and don’t work for very long, and/or make a huge mess. These are super convenient and really work well. I can put my whole nose directly in my shoes and not a single scent at all! Incredible. I got another deodorizing spray at the same time I bought these but haven’t needed to use it, these do the trick all on their own. I place them inside the shoes whenever I take them off and leave them in until I put them back on. Haven’t had to “recharge them” thus far but very satisfied with their efficacy—recommend!

Waiting to activate them is a pain but they work pretty good. I see a significant reduction of odor in my husbands shoes.

Not bad. They do the job.

No odor or scent….just takes the stinky workout odor from my gym shoes perfectly!
