1/2 Shank, 1/4 Radius x 1 Diameter x 1/2 Cutting Length - Roundover Bit, Whiteside #2006

I build Porch Swings and I use this to get a nice rounded edge on the slats for the swings. In 2 weeks I cut about 3,500 board feet; the bit is still sharp and cutting well. Surprisingly the bearing is holding up as well. Quite satisfied with this purchase.

Fantastic bits! You can buy cheaper bits but these are top notch and it shows.

This router bit is the best roundover bit I have ever used and owned. I have MLCS, Freud and miscellaneous other roundover bits and this bit produces the cleanest cut. It is also light weight and tends to not put as much stress on my router. This bit is so good I purchased other sizes of whiteside roundover bits to replace the others in my collection.

WHITESIDE BITS ARE 1 OF THE THREE BEST COMPANYS IMOA. THIS BIT IS RAZAR SHARP AND CAN ALSO BE SHARPENED WHEN IT GETS DULL. CUTS LIKE BUTTER....

I go through about 10 of these a month. Im usually getting in excess of 5,000 thousand feet of routing with each bit on aromatic cedar (a very soft wood). They are exceptionally good surpassing any other bit for end grain. Usually the bearing is the first thing to go. Only one in a hundred get dull before the bearing dies. I have to watch for burning on the wood where the bearing touches to know when to change it out. I may be putting a little too much pressure with my feather boards, but I require that to get the results I want.

Outstanding quality as expected. I only buy Whiteside anymore with one exception, Eagle Americas Made in USA line which are made by Whiteside. This router bit leaves a beautiful smooth finish that doesnt really even need sanding. The bit is extremely well balanced and the bearing spins ever so smooth. Obviously I highly recommend Whiteside.

The best bits Ive ever used. Smooth cut, no tearing or rough cut, little if any burning. Well balanced, no vibration. Ive tried others, but none can compare to Whiteside.
