The paper album sleeves that come with many albums are not good for the album. Paper is sharp, and can scratch the vinyl directly, and it also deteriorates over time, flaking off as dust and sharp shards that that put your album at further risk. I have been using plain plastic sleeves because they were cheaper, but these are superior, and I think they are worth the extra money. The paper back stiffens the sleeve, which makes it easier to slide the album in and out and to get it open in the first place. Ive dropped a couple of discs on the turntable due to the awkwardness of the plastic sleeves, a dark moment for any vinyl afficionado. These sleeves fit inside the original sleeve as well, in case you want to keep it for the artwork. Overall, they are a noticeable improvement over plastic alone and worth the extra money.

This is my 5th order of inner vinyl sleeves. Very durable, dust and scratch free and easy to use. All my vinyl are in Zelof inner sleeves. Highly recommend this product….

Paper sleeves are so gritty they remind me of sandpaper. The smooth surfaces in these will make them less likely to scratch records.

Just the item needed to protect the vynil which lost case

Just got back into vinyl and when I buy a used album after I carefully clean it I wanted great archival, static free sleeves to store the now clean album. So I found this company on Amazon took a shot the price was right and they are wonderful! Made well and priced right. Protect your precious vinyl with these guys.

Ive used all kinds of vinyl inner sleeves over the past few years. Ive used paper (it disintegrates), plastic (tends to get floppy), and the best is rice paper and plastic that reduces static, provides some structure, and prevents paper disintegration and slides in easily.
