I use this product to replace my failed units install for a few years and they work very well. I recommend them to anyone needing a replacement for your environment.

I patched this converter between my ISPs cable modem/router and my home theaters Ethernet switch to break any electrically conductive path between them. This cheap insurance should give me the peace of mind that in the event the cable modem gets zapped, it wont take my rig down with it. It was plug and play right out of the box-quick and easy to hook up, and no software to install and configure. Some say doing this improves audio performance too. I dont see how, but the claim might be legit; since Ive done this, overall sound seems somewhat clearer.

Good product to establish a fiber connection between two points. For me, lightning surge prevention was the reason to buy it after a nearby lightning strike damaged two switches. One needs the proper cable and always a pair of these. Product is plug&play and works nice at 1GBit.

Exactly what i needed to extend 1gb thru out my office building. Connection was instant. No issues what so ever..

I inserted these 2 units into my network, between the Cisco switch and my audio streamer. This broke the electrical connection and replaced it with a fibre optic one. This has the advantage of not transferring electrical noise from my server. I have powered the last optical receiver in this chain, not with the supplied power adapter, but with a spare 5v 1amp DC lead from my linear power supply. Im very pleased with the affect on my hifi system.

AC ADAPTERだけPSE取得の物に交換しようと、家にある5v1Aの奴を本体のDC Jack に挿そうと思ったら、5.5mm2.5mm仕様だった。 AC ADAPTER側は、5.5mm2.1mmだったので当然挿せない。 仕方無く5.5mm2.5mm 仕様のAC ADAPTERを買い直した。 それでも製品には満足です。
