The outside material is kinda like a ballistic material or a strong nylon type of material and the inner sleeve for the laptop is very smooth and nicely lined. The bag is big enough for my 15 inch HP Envy laptop with plenty of room to comfortably slip in and out of the bag. The handles have an extra wrap on them making them comfortable.

Have had the case now for about a month and am really enjoying it. It is sturdy, well built and most protective of my chrome book. It fits perfectly and easily accommodates the power cord and external mouse that I carry. Last week in the Dallas airport I had a lady compliment it because of its design and nifty color.
