Its not complicated -- its just a USB cable. Only time will tell if its truly an outdoor cable, but it is relatively thin for an outdoor cable, and one cable got the insulation nicked off when pulling it through a conduit. The two things to beware of are: 1. The connector is small, so if youre using it outdoors, its not going to seal like cables made specifically for a particular camera model. I overcame this with a small amount of silicon glue. 2. While it claims to be compatible with many cameras, if you have an Arlo 2 or similar with the mount at a 90-degree angle, its not going to fit. I ended-up having to go with a lower-rated Wasserstein cable for the above camera, but fortunately I have 2 other Arlo 2 cameras mounted at different angles where I was able to use the cable.

Not an extension cord like it says. It’s a replacement cord. So you can’t plug this cord into your other one to extend the length. Not what I was looking for!

I purchased this to power my wyze camera. The length worked perfect for what I needed. I have it going through the door jam, and it doesnt have any wear and tear from opening/closing the door several times a day.

The product also included the wire mounting brackets! Awesome surprise :D

I ordered a white cable to wire my camera and I received a black cable instead. I dont want to have to go through the hassle of a return and ordering another one so I will just keep it, but Im very disappointed because of the black cable wont match my white camera and wont look so good on the background of my white wall.

No problems at all for the Wyze Cams.

This cord worked perfectly for what we needed. It fit the wyze camera with no issue and provides power right where we need it.

Plugged my Fire 7 tablet in and the connection would go up and down several times in a few seconds without moving the cord. Essentially useless. $6.99 so not worth returning.
