I bought this bag to carry around my 17 laptop and it has been doing that job very well. The main laptop compartment is roomy. There is a second compartment behind it for documents (and there is actually another thinner zippered compartment behind it). The back strap for attaching the laptop bag to the luggage has been very handy. The bag materials seems sturdy and could last a long time. I would have given this 5 stars if not for two unfortunate design features: 1. The main laptop compartment and the file compartment both have zippers with TWO zipper pulls. This allows you to open it from the top, and in both directions. But the 3/4 front compartment at the front has only ONE zipper pull (see picture). Why oh why did you do this??? It likely costs less than a buck to change it to two zipper pulls and it would make a lot of difference. The problem is that this front compartment is where you would put all your gazillion SMALL things (pens, phone, etc.) and it would be opened and closed more often than the other compartments, so having only one pull makes it unnecessarily more difficult to do. But more importantly, since it only has one pull, if you have partial opening it will face to the SIDE (see the picture) instead of the top. This means you risk having your small items getting out of the compartment if you dont close it completely. The other annoying feature is that the main strap is rather flimsy and their hooks to the bag only allow for hinge movement and not pivot or ball-joint-type movement. The end result is that the strap gets twisted too easily. These two things would probably cost about a buck or two to fix. But it would make user experience in using it much better, at least for me. I hope they incorporate this in their newer designs.

A thorough and accurate product description is so important for the customers before they make a purchase. The laptop Bag that I purchased is one of the best I have ever made. It is, as described, perfect for my needs. It does offer many safe storage features that are very helpful. The construction seems very durable also.

This was a replacement for an 8-year old computer bag that was showing its age (the handles were a little ragged and the finish had worn off, making them look ratty). This bag is very spacious. It can easily fit 14 and 15-inch laptops (which is all I have to test it with), and can probably take a 17-inch laptop if you dont mind a tight squeeze. The laptop goes into a padded enclosure in the middle compartment of the bag, and is secured by a velcro strap. The other side of that enclosure can be used to store accessories like mouse, power code, etc. This compartment can be expanded by one or one and a half inches, allowing this bag to double as an overnight bag with room for a change of clothes (if you dont mind getting the clothes squished up a bit). In addition to this center compartment, there is one more pretty large compartment for storing various things. This compartment is also divided into two enclosures, but this compartment does not have any padding. So, you can carry a larger laptop in one of these enclosures as long as you are careful about not dropping the laptop in or dropping the bag with the laptop in it. I use this to carry my cell phone travel charger, an external battery pack, cables (HDMI, USB, kensington lock cable, etc.), headphones, etc. There are three smaller compartments on the outsides of the bag that can be used to carry travel documents, a notebook, etc. The compartments also have smaller pockets inside them for storing pens, pen drives, business cards, etc. Overall, a lot of room, and some ability to keep things organized. But mostly, things are just going to get mixed around - which is fine. Lots of smaller and smaller compartments will make the bag less flexible and useful for lots of people. The handles seem to be sturdy, and have velcro so that they can stick together if you want. The bag also comes with an adjustable length shoulder strap (which I dont use). My main gripe with the bag is that the loop that is used to secure the bag to a roll-aboard suitcases extended handle does not have any velcro in the middle. This makes the entire loop a little loose, and the laptop bag tends to slide around while sitting on your suitcase. This is easy to rectify by getting stick-on velcro tape in a hardware store and fashioning your own stabilizer. But it would have been better if the manufacturer had thought of it and made it a standard part of the bag. Also, there are no rubber or other pads at the bottom of the bag to serve as feet. The bag just sits on the floor, so wear on the bottom surface is a concern. The material seems to be tough, and none of it is fake leather that can start flaking off or falling apart in a way that makes the bag look ratty and ugly, so I have high hopes for the durability of the bag. All the zippers and seams of the bag look good so far. The bag is black, so it can easily show dirt. The bottom of the bag already shows some dirt from being placed on the floor of airports, etc. You can clean it off with a wet rag when it starts to bother you.

Great price for a great bag

Purchased this for my husband for work. He always carries a briefcase and at least once per week, I hear the briefcase burst open, so this was a lifesaver. I especially like the file organizer that fans out when you open it. Its light and very roomy, yet small enough that you dont look like you are carrying a duffel bag. Perfect price point too!

Update: they sent me a new unit, so far no problems I believe that was a misfortune for myself... now everything it’s ok, I’ll not giv 5 stars because of the first one... if they had sent me a good one from the beginning I’ll certainly give 5 stars The product looks sturdy but it’s not! Less than one month and the bag tear apart... I am VERY disappointed with this product, I bought this because on amazon the reviews were good and were in the best seller position, so I thought this should be a worthwhile investment. But it’s not! I bought this bag to use at school, I carry a 15.6 laptop, the charger and my 1inch binder, this is exclusively used twice a week for my programming classes and surprisingly it couldn’t handle this! In about 3 days the black and white logo tag on the bottom right part peeled off, I didn’t care about that because its just a small cosmetic issue, and anyway that logo is horrible. But when it literally tears apart where is the handle then the thing starts to bother me! I do not recommend this bag. I wish to send it back, but I don’t know if its possible. I already tried to contact the seller, sent a complaint email but looks like they just ignored it. So now I’m reviewing for everybody at Amazon to see what’s going on! Suggestion for improvement: Better quality control, and the front pockets are not practical (too small to keep your charger there), also should be good to add a space for a water bottle outside, could be in a mesh pocket hidden in the expansion zipper (just an idea)
