A wonderful wool mat. One of my best purchases for all my sewing projects however after weeks and weeks of use it still smells like wet dog.

It gets the job done, I do use it on the floor since I have limited craft space, but I did notice I have to place a towel underneath as the steam from the iron will go through. Not a dealbreaker, just a little wet floor. Some people did note there is a smell from the mat, I did notice it, but again not a dealbreak nor is it powerful.

Just right size next my sewing table. No odor was noted when I opened the package.

I am a seamstress of quilts, childrens things, totes etc., but have been out of the loop for about 18 months with surgeries and the like. When I started back sewing and roaming Amazon as always for things this Wool Mat came up. Honestly I had not seen one before but was quite curious as my ironing quilt like pad worked but not as good as I would like. The fact that there was no need for steam was also curious to me, and so I ordered this mat based on size and price. Holy cow, I will never go back to the other manner of ironing my pieces EVER. This simplifies the process so much, easy to store on my cutting table and no steam for my iron. I cannot imagine not using it from this point on.

I bought this wool pressing mat for a specific space, and it fits perfectly! I love how flat it is!! And such a reasonable price.

Nice size for pressing quilting pieces. I have it next to my sewing machine so it is convenient to reach over and press seams as I sew. Thick, dense surface keeps heat from going through to table.

GREAT QUALITY

I really like the product. I like having the pressing mat right by my sewing machine for when I am piecing.

This pad has changed everything for me. I used another product for pressing and it just didnt hold up, pressing items wasnt easy. But this product is great. It doesnt distort the item being pressed, no heat or moisture go through to where you are pressing. The pressing is crisp. I love this pressing pad!

Now I dont have to set my ironing board up!
