My vacuum sounds different! Not sure how to explain the sound. Louder more aggressive sounding. But the vacuum is several years old and I’ve only ever washed the old filters.

The only thing I found I disliked was the fact that the foam filter was not the same material that Shark provides with their machine but it works fine and its definitely worth the price and improves the function of my vacuum

I wash them in Dawn in the sink. Hang them up. They last well

I didnt realize how bad my old filters were until I changed them! I now have a new vacuum (at least in suction) Dont wait a year like I did youll be glad you didnt.
