My go to filter bag for making almond milk Works perfectly for almond milk! The bag has a nice large opening that makes it easy for me to pour into directly from my blender and it’s well constructed so I’ve never had any issues when I’m hand-squeezing the bag to get every last drop of almond milk out. I make quite a bit of different kinds of nut milk for my family of five, so I’ll need to get a second and third bag soon!

Great bag! Its perfect for a big pitcher of coffee that lasts me about a week in the fridge. Im saving lots of cash not buying disposable packs of cold brew. No coffee ground leaks. Seems durable. Ive been using it for several months now. Good purchase!

This review is for the Organic Cotton Cold Brew Coffee Bag. I love how easy it is to cold brew some coffee with this. I use coarse ground coffee and put it in an old oversized dressing jar from Costco that I cleaned out. I also clip the string that ties the bag shut to the jam jars lid, and make sure that the water doesnt submerge the whole bag. Ive found that sometimes the grounds have a tendency to leak out of the bag if it gets completely submerged. Cleaning is easy, with just a rinse and some air-drying.

I recently picked up some disposables and this. The disposables didnt flow well, but made a decent cup of coffee, but in the end they were fragile and tore easily and disposable These filters were easy to clean and made a good cup of 24 hour cold brew. I will say that the cotton does soak up some of the oil and can leave you with a dryer feeling cup of coffee.

No sludge!! I was able to cold brew a delicious gallon of perfection!

I have tried making cold brew using an expensive metal filter with chain, and a great deal of sludge and grounds would seep out. I tried adding paper filters to the metal one, but it didnt help. I even tried the white nutmilk bags, and the coffee grounds would migrate into the seams as well as leaving sludge behind. Then I saw these filters and thought I would give them a try. I have been amazed how such a simple design can work so well. First, I have no sludge or grounds in my coffee when I brew it. Second, I love the quality and design. The seams are on the outside, so very little of the coffee grounds ever end up in the seams. The material holds up extremely well, and the bag rinses out quickly and dries quickly. The drawstring is of high quality as well. I use an old 80 ounce pickle jar to make my cold brew coffee. I put the bag inside the jar with the top draped over the mouth of the jar. Then I add my coarse ground coffee, pour water in to fill the jar, stir the coffee in the bag, pull up the drawstring to close the bag, wrap the drawstring around the top of the bag and loop the end under one of the circles around the top of the bag, and then set it in the refrigerator until the next morning. At that point I remove and rinse the bag, and I put the brewed coffee in a glass pitcher in the refrigerator - and delicious, non-acid tasting coffee is ready for several days. I surely wish I had found this item first, before wasting money on other, less useful filters.

With these bigger bags (I used to use spice bags), my cold brew is made easier and tastier. I use a big jar to brew coffee for two everyday. These bags allow maximum water-coffee contact. Cold water helps reserve the taste. After pouring the coffee to cups, I just wash the bag using the dishwashing soap and hang dry. Then I use the other bag to brew coffee for the next day. Day-by-day, with cold brew coffee, life is good:)

Only wish I had found these sooner! Been an iced coffee lover for five plus years. Love my toddy. Perfect partner… Fast draining, easy to clean, doesn’t affect the flavor… Better for the environment.
