> 24 hourManual talks about cleaning but it doesnt tell you how dust can collect in the these thing and actually stop you machine from running. If your getting a pulsation power to your Dyson its most likely this. A simple washing of the original isnt enough. These were cheap and arrive the next day, saved me from having to buy a new vacuum. Well worth the money.

> 24 hourWorks very good and fits perfectly. Cleaning the filter works much better when you blow out the filter with compressed air instead of washing them with water.

> 24 hourMy wife swore that there was something wrong with the Dyson Portable Vacuums. I took out the existing filter and it worked fine, so I washed the filter and that helped, but did not last. Once I found these and replaced the existing filters, the vacuums worked great.

> 24 hourFits v6 motorhead Dyson. My vacuum wasn’t working well despite cleaning the filter so I decided to buy new ones and it’s working like a brand new vacuum now.

> 24 hourSo I actually didnt realize (I guess I didnt think about it) Dyson made replacement filters. These were perfect, easy to pop in as replacement and easy to clean. We have two small dogs, and after over a year of using the same filter, that doggie smell was just not rinsing out. I popped in a new filter as soon as it arrived and wow, what a difference! And the two-pack means well have a back up waiting the next time the doggie smell doesnt wash out!

> 24 hourI have a Dyson V8 - after about 6 months, it started to do this cycling noise, suction then off, the on etc. I cleaned the filter, and it still did this. I read a review that replacing the filter is the best option. I received these 2 today and they are exactly like the Dyson filter. However, I still had the same problem. I switch from the vacuum attachment to one of the hand held and it did not have the above issue. I noticed that in the joint (swivel part) of the vacuum attachment I had a clog [I have cats] and there was a ton of hair stuck in there, this was making the Dyson think it had a bad or dirty filter. I cleaned it out took a minute, since my finger can only reach so far in there, from either side, but once cleared... Poof!! Works great again. In the future: Yes Ill replace the filter probably 2x a year, but Ill also check that swivel connection, as it seems to be a reservoir for my cats hair.
