> 24 hourThese are great filters that work well for an RV or for an ordinary water spicket. We use these not only for camping but for our livestock when we travel for shows.

> 24 hourI wasn’t aware that after installing these for your RV that you have to turn the water on in the camper and have it run for a bit first before using it for personal reasons and I went to wash my hands and black stuff spilled all over my hands. It was easy to rinse off though just surprised me. After the water ran clear in the sink from that episode, I thought it was over with the black stuff coming out but I still turned on the faucet in the bathtub and it wasn’t done because it came out again quite a bit there too. Again was easy to rinse off and didn’t stain anything so that was good. After that however the water ran clear and everything was good to go.

> 24 hourExcept for the chlorine, Im content with my my citys water supply for aeroponic gardening. To remove/reduce the chlorine, Ill usually fill a wide-open container with water and let it sit for a few days – seems to get rid of the smell at least. However, that process takes too long when Im using lots of water so I thought Id try one of these inexpensive filters.

> 24 hourWe have an RV and we don’t have a built-in water filter. If you have never camped at a camp site you would never know how bad water can taste. This is a must for RV campers. I put this on the faucet then hook my water hose to the filter and the other end to the camper. Clean water that tastes good. You don’t lose much flow or pressure. In fact, we still run a pressure regulator. This is priced reasonably compared to what you get at the big box stores. I believe one of the reasons is because it does a lot more. Most economy filters filter out bad taste. These removes; sediment and chlorine. There are others that remove more but this takes the bad taste out of the water. Now I am not a scientist, so I can’t verify these claims but I am going with it.

> 24 hourIf you arent using a water filter on your RV, I really hope you arent drinking the water. Put it in between the hose and your RV so that even the hose water is filtered. This is a good alternative to the standard RV water filters that run about the same price.

> 24 hourUsed these to replace my old Camco filter that I’ve probably been using too long on my camper. Definitely noticed an improvement in the water quality. Not sure how long they will hold up, but if they don’t last long I’ll update my review. Comes with a short adapter for an easy connection. At this point, it seems to work good at a slightly smaller price point.

> 24 hourI use this type of filter as a prefilter for connection of water hose to motorhome.
