This is a great piece of luggage! It holds more than I thought it could. I used it for a 5 day trip. It fits in the overhead plane compartments on United and America Airlines, even in one of their smaller planes. I loved how it rolled down the isle sideways so I didn’t have to carry it. I bought the matching under seat sachel as well and it worked great as well. Love both pieces.

Here is the Lily Bloom Carry on bag on a donkey in Italy! I love this bag! - I just got home from 2+ weeks traveling around Italy. I deliberated about what bag to buy for this trip for far too long, reading review after review on every reasonably priced Carry on bag out there, and finally settled on this one. I was not going to check baggage, so the carry on was very important. This bag easily fit into the overhead compartment on international flights - if you are going to expand it though, it will not fit. I couldnt believe how much this bag held, for reference, I packed; 6 maxi dresses, 6 short dresses, 4 short skirts, 2 pairs of pants, 6 tank tops/t-shirts, 2 long sleeve tops, one cardigan and one cashmere poncho thing, 3 bikinis and one tankini, a beach cover up, a beach bag, a clutch, a belt, about 10 pairs of underwear, a few bras/bralets, one nighty and one pair of short PJs, two fat hair brushes, two fairly chunky pairs of flips flops and all my toiletries, including an epilator. - I actually think there was more than this & maybe I am forgetting something. Of course, it was hot in Italy, so all of these clothes are very light weight & roll up really small - but, I am not a tiny person (female, 510) so these are not tiny clothes. In addition to three plane rides, our trip involved multiple train, bus and taxi rides - & of course, a couple of donkey rides (the donkeys were only for the luggage - humans had to walk!) So, with all this moving around the bag was given a fair beating. It continued to glide smoothly, even after being abused on the cobblestone streets of Venice, Florence and Rome. Oh, and I bought a few things while I was away, & I easily packed those things for the trip home, still without expanding the bag to its full capacity. Great bag.
