I would only use the bags for a single use application. 2 mil is just too thin for any durability. The bag practically tears just trying to open the ziplock. I wouldnt consider these unless you are going to use the bag once, then throw it away.

Both side of the top of these bags are cut to the same height making them more difficult to open than bags where there is visible difference in heights. This may not be important to you depending on how you want to open the bag for initial filling and if you plan to open and close the bag several times. In my case I need a bag thats easier to open because they are opened and closed many times.

I bought these to put components for a card class with 12x12 inch papers (for a card box) inside along with the card bases and designer papers for each participant. I like that they zip closed and hold all the paper pieces as well as smaller bags of embellishments inside. They are sturdy, sized right and a good price.

I use these for scrapbooking projects. I Put in my pictures, matching paper(12x12) stickers, titles etc. They close easy, stay dry, pack well and are so durable I can use them over and over. A must have.
