Works as it should. I did have a bit of a challenge with the setup. I followed the instructions and it didnt work. I used my limited self-taught computer skills to make it connect. Works perfectly to extend range of my Wi-Fi to a corner of the house not otherwise reached. pretty easy to set up. About 2 months use so far.

This product was easy to set up with a mobile phone. Plugging in the extender in the same room as the router, I pressed the WPS button the router and the corresponding button on the extender. Once the lights indicated a connection, I took the extender across the street.

Setup didnt take long, though in todays relative lack of patience, it felt like kind of a long time. Maybe 2 minutes to get some of the lights to come on to the status at which you expect them to - power, wi-fi link, and device link just take a little while to finally come to their senses. Its probably 45 seconds, but it feels like a good 5 minutes while youre staring at the stupid thing, waiting for the next step.Plug it in near the router, wait for power light, hit the WPS buttons on this and my TrendNet router, wait for wi-fi link to show, move it closer to the dead/weak zone, plug in, wait for the wi-fi link to change to green, and youre good!Allegedly, the wi-fi link LED shows you how strong the signal is (red? move it closer to the router. orange? move it a little closer), but when I plugged mine in, it was orange for a while until it finally linked up and then it was green, and it has been working GREAT for me. Our router is about 2/3 of the way toward the back of the house, downstairs. I plugged this in, upstairs, about 1/3 of the way toward the back of the house. I was struggling to get halfway decent speeds from the front room upstairs before, but with this extender, its been smooth sailing.Have not yet noticed if my phone (Pixel XL) has been automatically switching between the original and extender, but I know that Ive manually pushed it to do so before.Regardless, it was an easy setup, I got it cheap on Prime Day ($25) and for that price I couldnt be happier with the results. Well be moving some rooms around in the coming months, which may move them further apart, testing the limits of the range, etc. Hopefully Ill remember to come back here and update.

Range Extender works great! I do have full strength anywhere in my house - which is more important.Great product,pretty easy set up.I am not technologically savvy in the least.My DSL modem wireless signal was weak- I bought this instead of paying my DSL provider to run another line in my house-works like a charm.I am very happy with this purchase.

For the price, this little thing works great. I have a ranch style home that is roughly 80 ft wide and my modem is on one side of the house in my living room. Prior to purchasing this range extender, whenever I was in my bedroom (clear opposite side of the house) I would get 1 bar of Wifi - now I have 3 bars. Its not perfect full signal but its enough to stream movies on Netflix, play XBox Live, and watch youtube on my phone without being booted. If youre not looking to spend a lot of money but you need a boost, Id highly recommend this.

Love it! So easy to set up. Followed option 2 and it connected to my router. The best part is now we are able to extend the wifi! It worked immediately. I had an old extender and it worked but we had to hook the Ethernet to it and go online, etc. This was literally plug and play.

Amazing! So easy to set up. I installed this repeater about halfway between the router and the other side of the house. Not only do I have the signal getting to that side of the house, I am getting speeds that are 2-3 faster than from the old router that I had in that area.
