Sturdy, well made , exactly what I was looking for .

The leather is tops, with full grain and shows a wonderful patina. The stitching is good, but not consistent, which shows why the price is kind of low. Attention to detail is close, but lack the tight tolerance of a high-end bag. This is understandable and reflects on the price. This bag will last a long time due to the good material used. My biggest negative is the carrying strap. It is adjustable, but once adjusted to the correct length, then the shoulder pad cannot be positioned correctly, thus making the shoulder pad useless. The shoulder strap has a decorative leather sewn on top which is functionally negative because it makes the strap feels like cardboard. It would be more appropriate to just use a nylon strap which will alleviate the problem and provide more functional purpose for the shoulder strap. As it is now, the leather piece is just sewn on, looks tacky, and only serves as cosmetic purpose. Overall, it is a good bag. It will give the appearance of a high-end bag due to the wonderful full grain leather used for the construction. I just wish the shoulder strap is as good as the bag itself, not as an afterthought which diminish it practical usage that when you need it most, you found that it is not comfortable and not as sturdy as the bag itself. This is a pity because the metal clasps ends that clips onto the bag is nice and brushed stainless steel which looks very classy. This bag is huge. It is not an overnight bag. It can easily carry a weeks worth of your travel gear. Sure you can use it as an overnight bag, but do you really want to labor yourself carrying a bag with only a few overnight items ?
