I got these to store lip balm. They are great containers. Easy to open and close; sturdy. As described and then some.

I use these for k9 scent work. They are perfect. I glue little magnets on inside so they can be placed on fridges etc in early stages and under bumper and such when practice when fully trained.

Another buyer said that the tins came in a bag. Mine came in a box and were perfect!! I made my first batch of salve, poured it into the tins... and VOILA! Gorgeous little gift tins of herbal salve. I am going to order tons of these!!

Overall I like these. The bad: Came loose in a zip-lock style bag, packed in a box with other items I had ordered from Amazon. Being aluminum and rubbing up against each other in the bag, all came with scratches/scuffing on the finish, only really noticeable if you are looking closely, and about half came with very minor dents. So not completely pristine, but nothing egregious that I wouldnt feel o.k. still putting my salves in & gifting to a friend. Probably would work fine for selling at a booth; after putting a sticker label on the lid most dents or scratches will be even harder to notice. While I like how light weight these are, I think my other tins that were not pure aluminum werent overly heavy & will likely stand up better to not denting when getting dropped, and have a nice-looking scratch free finish. The good: Good seal. I like the liners on these lids. The lids have a very thin liner made out of a plastic that feels slightly waxy & has a little bit of give. While thin, it still is substantial enough to allow me to pry up with the edge of my nail & remove without damaging it, if I want for washing. It seems more likely to last than most foam liners I am familiar with. The lids still screw down tightly, easily, even without the liner. I took the liner out of one, and tested the tightness of the lid with water. Even shaking all around, it wasnt leaking. I like that this seller specifies that this is food-grade pure aluminum. Measure 2 diameter (just maybe a hair over on the lid, and 2 exactly on the bottom.) 2 cm tall with the lid on, 1.8 cm tall with the lid off. Seller was Anthone Amo, fulfilled by Amazon. The shipping was fast. I paid slightly higher because this listing said it would get here in time, and it did.

These came in with a few scratches on the lid and some lids were a little bent even though I selected new, but I can hide them with a sticker. I kept them and would purchase again.
