Needed more brass brushes and decided on these. I am glad I did because these are great. Nice bristle density and seem like they will last several uses. They are better then the black plastic handle version I was using before.

You can never have enough of these on hand in the garage.

I use a lot of needle and mid-sized files for lutherie work, filing metal instrument frets and other parts. The brass bristles on these brushes are soft yet dense enough to easily remove metal filings that build up quickly. And keeping files clean helps minimize tiny scratches on exposed metals. I have a specialty brass brush made for small files but, for a comparable price, I got 24 of these and theyve got other uses such as electrical work. Good deal.
