> 3 dayCompared to the brands (Lincoln Electric, Blue Hawk) I used to buy from the big box hardware store, these brushes are mostly good, but there is a bit of bad as well. The good: the bristles stay in the brush. The application I use these for involves getting the brush wet, which leads to the wood swelling and shrinking. The Blue Hawk brushes were pretty good, but then they were replaced with Lincoln Electric, in which the bristles would start falling out after one use. The bad: the wire used for the bristles is a smaller diameter than what I am used to for brushes of a similar size. This means that they tend to bend or flex more, making it harder to apply a lot of pressure and maintain a good brushing effect. This also leads to the bristles becoming bent or splayed out at a quicker rate. In sum: The bristles may bend easily, but they stay in the handle (at least the batch I got have thus far), and for the price per brush, theyre worth it.

> 3 dayI like these but the bristles could be stiffer. They clean well despite that.

> 3 dayNot worth it since these things make a mess on their own due to shedding bristles.

> 3 dayBought a box of these, and a box of the similar brass-bristle version. Very handy to have these in the shop. Quite durable - 3 rows of bristles with 7 / 6 / 7 bunches per row. Sturdy wooden handle, unlike other (Chinese) manufactured versions with rather flimsy plastic handles. These are easier to grip and wont break! Plus: They float in water.
