These rods are not the stated dimentions, they are undersized by .1mm. I was looking to get an interference fit, pressing them in a hole, they did not work.

I used these for some simple shafts and they worked well. They were straight. I didnt check the thickness as it wasnt necessary. I would purchase this again if I needed more for a simple project.

Less than half the rods seem like steel, less than half are ferrous/magnetic. I need it for hobby stuff, but, half the rods seem like steel, the other half is some nonferrous alloted thing

Id hope there would be more sizing differences instead of duplicates of sizes but still a bargain! Sharing with my school jewelry studio.

I need a 11/32 or 5/16 rod to make a bunch of pieces about 3/4 long. It was hard to find that at my local hardware store. So, this was more rods and more variety of diameter than I needed, but now I have some of various ODs. Price was fair.

These pins are not stainless steel. A magnet does not attract them. I bought these as practice pins so it will be fine for my purpose, but anyone that need stainless look elsewhere.

Fine, except only about half of the rods are 304 SS which is non-magnetic. The other half are magnetic, e.g. 410, 420 or 440. I needed all to be non-magnetic so I returned them.

Dimensions are spot on, as measured with 0.01mm calipers. Good quality steel, clean ends, no defects.
