This is an excellent product, I currently have 4 in my house and couldnt be happier. I generally have them hooked up to my lamps and a fan in which they have never failed me. Works great with Alexa and the timers are great in the event I make it home late and have my hands full

Getting to the Christmas tree plug has always been a hassle, at least once the presents were surrounding the tree. With this little guy, I can not only create a timer for the tree but can turn off the lights with my phone so that we can enjoy a movie in the same room. Setup was easy and integration with my app is flawless. I dont do any alexa integrations yet, so cant comment on 3rd Party automations.

JINVOO! It’s now the first name I look for when adding to my Alexa collection. I started my collection of switches, bulbs and dimmers by buying the least expensive item that would meet my needs. I soon learned that not all devices are as rock solid reliable and easy to install (add)) as the JINVOO products. I just added more JINVOO devices and will go looking for JINVOO the next time I add anything.

Ive purchased numerous wifi plugs by Jinvoo & I love them! The 1st Jinvoo set I ordered was the start of my wifi plug addiction but those are no longer available so I went with this set & Im equally satisfied. I choose to stick with Jinvoo since its been a positive experience (connects easily, doesnt block other outlets, works in surge protector strips) & I rather not have multiple apps on my phone to control these outlets. Currently I have 2 nightstand lamps, tall standing lamp & television plugged into them In my bedroom , connected to Echo Dot 2nd generation . Am using them to control the lights in my kids rooms, connected to Echo Dot kids edition, & the light In my sewing room thats connected to the Kids Dot thats in my daughters room thats right by my sewing room. I will be purchasing more outlets to control my living TV, air purifier & sound bar. I have a chronic pain disorder & I have to say, its an awesome feeling when I painfully crawl into bed then realize i forgot to turn off my lamp....Alexa, turn off Lamp 1. Ahhhhh.... just that simple!

This isnt the 1st time using the Jinvoo Smart Plug. Actually its my 6th and 7th Plugs. The set up is a breeze as is the integration with my Amazon Alexa and needing some timing for my X-mas lights couldnt be easier.

This dual outlet was very easy to program with google and inmediately I was able to control my lights. It works with Alexa too. It never misses. Works perfectly!

EDIT: Updated after several months of use. These plugs (and the required app) move MASSIVE amounts of data. I have three plugs, which create 100MBs of data usage a week on my home WiFi. That is insane! Our smart thermostat uses less than 1/100th of that. I have stopped using these, as I am uncomfortable with WiFi connected devices streaming huge quantities of unknown data through a Chinese company. While I have not tried this with Alexa, the iOS app is perfectly functional and easy to use, if a little barebones. The units themselves are small and feel sturdy, They are thick enough that putting them behind a piece of furniture is problematic, requiring a sizable gap to fir it and the plug. A side facing outlet would likely have been more functional. Functionally they are great. Connect easily to the app & router, very fast response time when turned off/on, literally plug & play.

Works as advertised. I dont like that you have to use an account with Jinvoo to make it work. Perhaps Im just not computer savvy enough to understand how to connect directly to Alexa without the Jinvoo app? In any case, they work. Make sure you have newer style outlets with a ground plug and take not they they need room side to side.

Ive used a number of different smart plugs in our home. These seem to be the most reliable. They are also extremely easy to set up. Im replacing all the smart bulbs with these instead because the are so much more reliable.

These smart plugs make life so easy for setting a schedule for anything in your home! My plant lights for my succulents are on a timer, which ensures it will always turn on and off. I don’t have to remember to do it! I also use the countdown feature on the app to ensure my phone isn’t charging all night when I fall asleep!
