One day I couldnt find my keys, turned out I accidentally left them in my pocket and put it through the full cycle of the washer. I freaked out, brand new key fob was certainly useless. Not in the least. Its been 3 weeks since it happened, these silicone protectors certainly saved me a few hundred dollars from my mistake. I realize that nowhere in the description does it say they are waterproof, but holy cow, this one time it was. Wont make that mistake again. Overall, a great product, and no lint stuck to it.
