It looks and feels silly but it helps alot when my toddler likes to sprint and I have my 1 yr in our 2 seater stroller. It gives him more freedom to explore! Youre able to adjust how tight or loose depending on your childs size.

He is 2yr old and this gives him some freedom to move around. Only use it when we have gone to places where I know there is going to be a large crowd because he likes to run away and this way he cant get very far because without he is like Speedy Gonzalez.
