These are pretty straight forward if you keep an aquarium of sorts. Buying in bulk at a good price keeps you from having to rinse and re-use every so often. Just pop in a new one, every other 25% water change.

I am running this little filter on a 7 gallon aquarium that I have a Stichodactyla haddoni and 2 clarkii clowns inhabiting. I use it as a backup just in case the systems ammonia level rises and Im not immediately around. So far it has been doing its job and I have not tested any readable level of ammonia.Im very pleased.
