24-11-2024Unfortunately, one of the three mesh cages was bent...I dont know how to return it or replace it. I havent had a problem with these cages in the many years that I have ordered. Please let me know what I can do. The top wire is bent so it tries to close in on itself on the top where the monarchs pupate. And if I used it for the bottom of the cage it is unbalanced.

> 3 dayThese butterfly houses are great for the home butterfly grower. The zippered door provides easy access. Its light and easy to move around. When not in use, it can be wrapped and flattened into a disk.

> 3 dayThis is a light easy to carry cage. I epsecially like the opening and closing zippers and they seem to protect the zipper from the cats. I havent had any cat go into the pupa stage on it. It is located down from the top. It is also easy to clean.

> 3 dayI have been helping monarchs for the past few years. Until I really got into it, I was using a homemade habitat. A friend of mine who introduced me to this past time had a few netted habitats that were pretty awesome. Since I have done this now for several summers and am doing it full time in Florida, getting real habitats made sense. In searching the internet, the Restwell offerings looked like what I wanted and were offered at a good price . When they came, I was TOTALLY pleased with them. They popped up easily and held the plants (and cats!) perfectly. The zippered opening allows easy access for cleaning and adding food. The solid plastic side allows me to view whats happening with the cats so the disturbance to their space is minimal. I highly recommend these. The ONLY reason I gave them a 4 star rating for sturdiness is that when I needed to move them, the plants inside were heavy and caused the bottoms to sag. Not a big deal but just something folks should be aware of.

> 3 day3-Pack Butterfly Enclosure helped us release over 100 Monarch butterflies!! We started off with 12 caterpillars end of July. We used these enclosures for the different phases from the egg to the caterpillar to the chrysalis to the butterflies! The enclosure blends into the garden with the white crisp looking mesh & green trim. Because of the light colored mesh netting sides top & bottom the natural lighting and the air was able to flow through the sanctuary without cooking or overheating the process. The white mesh helped the colors of the caterpillars & the chrysalis stand out brilliantly when it came to taking pictures & video. The viewing side of the cube is genius when youre showing off your sanctuary. You can even take pictures on that clear side and the pictures come out clearly as if youre inside the sanctuary! The caterpillars utilized the top of the enclosure to transform into chrysalis stage. The height was perfect because even when we were moving plants in & out, there was plenty of room to not disturb the many butterfly chrysalis on the top. The very practical feature was the double zipper which we utilized daily. The double zipper gave us plenty of opening to move the milkweed plants in and out. The enclosure fit 4 1-gallon milkweed pots easily. Those caterpillars are munchers so we were in and out every day! The zippers were nice because when the butterfly was ready to fly away, we could leave part of the flap opening for them to come out. The zippers also provided plenty of maneuverability when taking pictures or video inside the pop-up sanctuary. Make sure you have plenty of pollinator plants for the butterflies to land on to dry their wings after coming out of the chrysalis. We had milkweed in the garden as well so when the butterflies came back, they would lay eggs on the underside of the milkweed leaf. Thats how we got 3 generations this season. Then wed move the tiny caterpillars inside the enclosure. When the last butterfly flies away, probably end of October, it will be easy to clean & spray down the enclosure, fold it up and store it for next season. I highly recommend the pop-up butterfly enclosure. We thought the 3-pack was too much, but for our veteran season it worked out great because we ended up using 2 and gifted 1 to our milkweed supplier who she herself utilized a total of 3 enclosures!!

> 3 dayThey are great but don’t last long when outside, thought they would be able to handle outdoors.
