3 Sprouts Baby Laundry Hamper Storage Basket Organizer Bin for Nursery Clothes, Llama

Giving this item as a baby shower gift, but I also have a 3 Sprouts hamper of my own and we love it. It is made of a durable canvas material on the outside, and lined with a water-proof UPL lining on the inside, plus the super cute animal applique! It also has two canvas handles on either side for easy pick-up. We have used it for a toy catch-all, and a laundry hamper. Tough material seems like it will last forever.

The product is cute, nice size, useful for many types of things. It is sitting in my home waiting for delivery to a baby coming soon. The penguin is adorable, makes me smile whenever I see it. Hope it makes the new mom and dad smile when they are feeling tired.

We just got this hamper a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. The design is cute (we got the polar bear) and the fabric seems quite sturdy. Other reviews indicate that the earlier version without the mesh bottom was better, but since I have nothing to compare it to, I am not disappointed. I dont usually put wet items in the hamper, so the mesh bottom was not an issue for me in that regard.

We bought this to replace our toddlers mesh pop-up hamper that was in bad shape, and even though its more expensive, we like it much better. Its stands up on its own, is super roomy, easy to carry downstairs to the basement where our washer and dryer are, and it seems much more durable than a mesh hamper. We like it so much that we ended up buying another one for ourselves, and after my parents saw it, they ordered one to put in their RV. Love, love, love this thing.

The Hamper is larger than what I was expecting in a good way. The feature I love the most is the handles. In the picture it shows the handles folded on each other creating a slot to place the laundry. When you need to carry the laundry to the washing machine area the handles fold back up making it really easy to carry the little ones dirty laundry without fear that some pieces will escape out like they do with the typical laundry baskets. 5- stars for design 5- stars for usability Since I have just received it I cannot comment on wear and tear, but it is a thick canvas material with a coating on the interior. I would expect this material to last quite a while as long as its not getting washed on hot every week.

I do actually really like this hamper, however I didnt feel I could give it five stars because the lack of air flow through it. I use this in my babys room and one time tossed a wet burp cloth in and when I went to wash everything I noticed that there was mildew on my burp cloth! I assume it was because there are no air holes in the hamper like many others have, and the material is a water resistant type, not breathable cotton. I wish they had put a panel of mesh in the back or something to prevent something like this. I do however think its a good size, and I like that you flip up the top to make it into handles.

This deer hamper arrived and looked just as pictured. The fabric and quality seems/feels like it would hold up nicely... But it did not. It has been only, gently, used and has already torn, about 4 months in. A seam came loose at the handle, and now the materials have began to fray. HOWEVER, I would purchase this item again. I believe my product was a fluke. Id take a risk on a second one.

We previously bought a ten buck pop up laundry basket for our son but it has fallen apart in the last year. This hamper is well constructed and even though it was more than twice the amount, I am sure it will hold up for much, much longer. The handle design is very clever and it is easy to carry when full and very cute in our sons room. I wish the laundry hamper came in more animal designs from the 3 Sprouts line because I would order a second one, but I dont care for the other characters. This would also be cute as a toy basket for a play room.

We are using for a newborns room and should work perfect.

Why on earth would this company change their design!? I have two of these I bought two years ago with canvas bottoms and a larger opening at the top. NOW the bottom is made of loose mesh (which causes it to stand funny) and I don’t even want to know how it would look once it’s full of clothes your trying to drag or carry to the washing machine. And don’t even think about using it for toys. I not only purchased these for myself but I’ve also purchased them as baby shower gifts in the past. They were great for putting other gifts inside the hamper and using it as the gift bag. No longer. I bought this one with the intention of bringing to a shower full of gifts but now with this mesh bottom that will hold little weight it’s going back. I have a feeling the company changed their design for supposed safety reasons. Why else would they ruin a perfectly good design. I saw in the reviews that someone said their baby got “trapped in the hamper” and they were acting like the child could have been injured. Not sure how the old design could ever harm a child.. Too bad because I would have bought more when mine need replaced and probably one for any babyshowers I attend in the future. Bring back old design!
