I got these not for mascara but for crafts, cleaning in crevices like keyboards and around the sink and for root touch ups. You get so many and they look fun! Lots of them means I dont have to feel bad throwing them away after a use. Pretty sturdy so far.

For the current price of $8.54 ($8.99 minus 5%), which comes to $.3 cents per wand, I thought this was going to be close to garbage. However, I am pleasantly surprised. The wands are very stiff and sturdy. They pass through my mascara tubes easily and work well during application. I particularly love these for my eyebrows as I have bushy eyebrows. I counted one of the packages of wands and there are 50 per package with a total of 300 wands over 6 packages. I also love the different colors even though those colors get covered up by the make-up.
