I dont believe these are made to last long particularly in Texas heat. The rubberized coating on the ball has dissolved and turned to dust on both the east and west side mounts, and the plastic vise that holds the ball in place has cracked on both units so have had to replace them with the spares. One of the spares had its replacement already cracked as well. Both mounting locations are in direct sunlight for at least a few hours a day. If the vise-grip were metal this likely would not happen, but one of the cameras was just about to fall out of the visegrip. I only stopped it because I had to install the solar panel for battery recharging and immediately noticed the camera was about to fall because the grip on the rubberized ball was cracked and separating. I would not purchase this again and am looking to replace them now.

It went off line for two days while I was traveling, reset modem from remote and did not correct the issue. I called the ring support and nothing could be done from remote. However after two days, it back online again! Need to have this think work at all time!

Wanted to install cam ring outside but needed a ceiling mount. This worked perfectly and is a great value.

A pretty straightforward idea, adds to the adjustments you can make as well as the angles you can reach with the cameras.

It only worked for 2weeks it’s a waste of money

Not hard to install. U will just need a drill to nail it to the wall. I dont think a hammer is good as it can break the mount. The mount is made of some kind of hard plastic like material

Easy to mount and made the ring stick up camera easier to position to get better spread of the property

Exactly what I was looking for! Great to angle “weird” ways to see the right thing. Comes with screws to mount it. Lightweight and great quality! Would recommend!
