Bought this for my sister who lost her original charger years ago. She plugged it up immediately and was delighted to know that the charger works and she’s able to feed her Nintendo dogs once again.

i like this product because compared to the refurbished official charger nintendo is selling or compared to the other knock off chargers i found its not a wall plug in its a USB to AC. so, all you really need is a charger box or a power bank (or anything with a USB connector really) to charge your system. whether it be a DS, DSi, 2DS, 3DS, or the new monstrosities you call the new 3DS XL or 2DS XL.
