Greater than one weekI must wear a medicine patch that, although it works delivering medicine, it doesnt adhere to the skin quite as well. I change it every 48 hours. Tegaderm or equivalent is my only option to enhance adherence and it works WONDERFULLY. The only problem was the cost at the local druggists. As I recall, 8 dressings for 8 bucks (6 bucks on sale). Outrageous. So, Im now in love with this packaging. Same dressing but instead of 50¢ a day, its less than 12¢ per day. That more than 75% OFF the standard price. And though Ive tried the generic product equivalent (claimed) to Tegaderm, it is Tegaderm that has the value - ESPECIALLY at this price. Good stuff. Others like it too for abrasions. They use this alone. They must like it. They keep nickin mine.

> 3 dayI use this to cover my glucose sensor. It allows me to shower and not lose the adherence to my skin, also provides a water resistant barrier for the sensor. It stays in place for the full 6 days of sensor use, with no irritation to my skin. Note: Cannot use for submersing in water i.e. bathtub, swimming, etc., It will trap sweat under dressing if exercising, and will eventually loosen in an area to drain. I have used other dressings that have irritated my skin, but this one doesnt.

> 3 dayThis worked wonders...I wear a transdermal patch to deliver medicine through skin and was taping on to secure. My skin looked eaten and then Id have to further irritate with an adhesive remover. I simply cut a window in center of these not to interfere with Rx delivery system per pharmacist suggestion and tegaderm not only hold in place better, theres. O bulk or colored residues from garments sticking on and when I remove there is ABSOLUTELY NO IRRITATION! Cant recommend enough for sensitive skin.

> 3 dayI am allergic to latex and some of these film dressings make me itch, breakout around skin, and are miserable to use. I have no problem with this specific dressing. A nurse recommended these and I use religiously.

> 3 dayLove these because the adhesive is strong enough to keep them on even when put through a few showers before they peel off. Just apply a dab of Vaseline to wound before applying tagaderm so that the adhesive doesn’t stick to the injury itself. Edges eventually tend to naturally peel up a bit at the edges over time (you may also notice water will get under the bandage while showering too when the seal has come too loose; this is a great sign that it’s time to reapply a new tagaderm.), they’re then easy to remove. I worked in a hospital and saw these used post-surgery over incisions and injuries all the time and am now using them myself for the same reason, and no other bandages compare.
