    I have wooden floors in my home that were treated with a sealer and then I use paste wax to buff them up from time to time. Works out great. I have a 14 Holt pro waxing machine I use and I use these pads to clean and apply the paste wax to the floor. Then I switch to the white ones to buff the floors. The results are excellent and I can get a few uses out of each pad before I have to throw them out due to the hard wax build up and dirt it picks up. I suppose using a liquid wax would enable me to wash this out after use, but over time it would get soft and wear out like a scrubby sponge. Great product and Great Price with free shipping.

3M™ Red Buffer Pads 5100 can be used for everyday cleaning, remove light soil, scuff marks, and black heel marks. Fibers throughout the pad are uniformly coated with a high-quality resin and fine cleaning particles, providing good performance throughout the pad’s long life. Open-web construction means this washable, reusable pad resists clogging and loading. Conformable fibers provide maximum pad-to-floor contact. The 3M™ Red Buffer Pad 5100 is available for round and rectangular rotary swing machines and automatic floor machines running at low speed (175-600 rpm).

Regular use of the 3M™ Red Buffer Pad 5100 reduces the frequency of scrub-and-recoat operations, enhancing the appearance of your finished floors with reduced labor and materials costs.

Floor cleaning pads are used to remove soil, scuffs and black heel marks and enhance floor appearance. The 3M™ Red Buffer Pad 5100 is used specifically for everyday cleaning under a rotary floor machine (175-600 rpm). It is also used for light scrubbing under an automatic scrubber. This product is made of polyester fibers and synthetic adhesives and will not be significantly affected by water, detergents and cleaners normally used for floor maintenance. The product is reversible and approximately 1 inch thick.
