just what I was looking for,did a great job on my marble table as did the other things I ordered to refinish my marble table!!! 3M is a great product.

A quality product

I have a new car that was ruined by some construction. Iron sanding particles imbedded into the clear coat. I wanted the best and to be very careful. 3M is the answer for a DIY. More money but the forgiveness from control and consistency is there. I wish they were sold in smaller batches and about half the price. I found that a box of 15 will do a car, but probably not a truck or van. And I milked the pads as far as I could. I would say 1 pad will cover about a 3x3 area consistently then it is pretty much 3500 or 4000 grit. It pulls 1500 trizac scratches out fast about 3 pass maybe. This really is a pro product, but with care you can use no problem with EXCELLENT results. Sanding a cars clear coat with this is very easy....VERY. I was nervous about it at first but not anymore, watched the videos before I did anything, and it is as easy or more than the video to remove paint imperfections. Dont be afraid of 1500 either.

I use these as second step to the P1500 clear coat sanding disks. They smooth out the 1500 scratches beautifully and can DA this step to a perfect shine. I like the foam backing. Creates good control over the surface.

I use these to take the haze off older headlights. Great refills for the 3M headlight kit, as this is the first item to wear out.

To be fair it out performs and out lasts run of the mill abrasives. However I Was expecting more due to the price. I would recommend it to anyone with cash to burn for most others I would recommend liquid abrasives to cut cost down.

Fantastic for removing the scratches from 1500 grit. Leaves a better surface than compounding.

The pads worked great, they were just like the originals that came in the polishing kit. Nothing to dislike about them.
